First of all, let me say, that when I first signed up for this trip, I had some real reservations. The cost and the fact that I knew nothing about your company really made me leary about booking the trip. I heard about it on the radio and thought there had to be a catch -- I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop....I even went on line and looked to see what I could find about the company. Unfortunately, the comments that I did find were pretty negative so I was a little worried.

I must tell you I was pleasantly surprised and very delighted with the trip. It was top rate from beginning to end.

Our tour bus driver, Duane was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and showed us so many things that we might not have otherwise seen. (He also knows ALL the good ice cream and pastry stops and good places to eat). The bus was very comfortable and he made the trip enjoyable with his videos and commentaries. I was even able to take some pretty awesome pictures through the windows.....they were that clear.

Once on board ship, what an outstanding experience!!!! This was our first cruise and it was an incredible adventure!

Overall, the trip was top rate...I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely book with you again in the future.

History of the Tournament of Roses

January 1, 2010 will be the 121st Annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA and this year's theme is 2010: A Cut above the Rest. 2010 Oberammergau Passion Play

Travel with your group to see the Oberammergau Passion Play! This historic event truly is the experience-of-a-lifetime and with two discount vacation packages from YMT you and your friends can all afford to experience it together. The Passion Play, which depicts the life and death of Jesus, is a tradition that dates back to 1634. The villagers of Oberammergau vowed to God to perform the play if they were spared from the effects of the bubonic plague and since then have put on the play every 10 years.

The play is put on over a period of 5 months and involves over 2,000 performers, all of whom live in the village. The seven hour performance (meals are served during intermission) also includes musical accompaniment and scenes from the Old Testament depicted by motionless actors.
